Early this morning at about 2:30 am, my neighbor came and woke me up. she dragged me to her backyard to see something that sounds very similar to what you described. I live Saskatchewan Canada, and Have very open prairies and can see for miles and for about 2 hours my neighbor said that is all she saw. It was an Orange-type ball of fire in the sky, and when I went and got my binoculars and got a closer look at it and saw a blue tint around it like there was a fire around it. It was a fie ball and was not moving.?What on earth could this be? Not a UFO though, trust me. more

Voting Question: When I inserted a tampon I noticed something odd about my vagina?

I've been trying to use tampons for three years and have never been able to push them in so that they are comfortable. This morning I thought I'd try to push an uncomfortable tampon up higher with my finger. I don't know if this is weird or not, but it seems like there are two pathways up there. the tampon seems to have been pushed into a path more to the right of my body, wheras my finger slipped straight up, and found another path which headed straight up and back. So what I'm asking is, is what I found weird? If you make a binoculars shape with your hands but don't touch your fingers and thumbs together, thats the kind of shape it seems to be. One tube seems to go up and back (the "normal" one that I've heard about), but the tampon had been pushed up the sideways tube into the half of the binocular shape which points towards the right more. Is this abnormal? Do I need to get it checked? Do you think tampons will be easier to use now that I know there's a different place for them to go? As in, straight up instead of slipping sideways? more

My neighbour Reginald Higinbottom ....... well I guess he's a good looking 30 yr old. Anyhow, he's at work every day. During the afternoons his wife (who is sizzling hot) hangs out the washing in the back garden and in the hot weather wears only panties and a T shirt. Naturally, as she stretches up to reach the washing line, she reveals a trim mid-drift and not leaving much to the imagination. The dividing fence between us is only 1 meter high so I can see everything, Do you think that I should tell Mr Higgingbottom what his wife gets up to.... I started a business with someone on line after an email I received. I paid a sum of money as deposit to start business and the person ordered hair straighteners, Binoculars etc. to my house and I was to resell them on ebay and get money. But Half way through I found out that he was using illegal credit card details obtained from databases to order these items. So I asked for the money back as I did not make any money from the items. He refused and he threatened me and forced me into doing more business henceforth losing more money on my part. He had my address details etc. so I was scared and did more business with him. But 5 days ago the police entered my house and arrested me in Norwich. I cooperated with them fully and told them about everything. I was interviewed and was released on unconditional bail. I have another appointment on the 24Th July 2010. I was wondering what the maximum penalty I will be subjected to? Thanks more

I am fascinated by astronomy, and two days ago I saw Mercury for the first time with unaided eye, it wasn't much to look at, just like a dim star in the evening twilight close to much brighter Venus. I thought to myself (excuse the informality): It's going to stay pretty much in the same position and the same brightness in the next few days so if I can get hold of some binoculars hopefully I can take a closer look. But using Stellarium planetary software I noticed the apparent magnitude of the planet changes a lot, when I looked it was -0.91, yesterday it was -0.84, today it is -0.76 and tomorrow it is -0.67. I always thought the position of Earth relative to Mercury and the position of Mercury relative to the sun in our sky could not change so much in just a couple of days to affect its brightness that much. So what makes it change so much? Thanks. more

I spent a week in an eye and ear hospital getting brain /eye tests when I was younger due to some double vision and lazy eye problems and they said that I would never have binocular vision and they couldnt get my two eyes to work together even with surgery. Any one who is familiar with the European low price supermarket chain Lidl will know that they operate weekly themes and sell items relating to that theme in addition to the regular food stuffs. For instance, this week it was hiking equipment. What will they do with all the unsold binoculars, compasses, walkie talkies, etc. that didn't sell in each store this week? They never seem to be available after the new stock for the next week's theme comes in? Do they keep them in storage till they bring the hiking theme back in 3 months time or will they sell them to a company at a wholesale price and let them shift them? more

Voting Question: I need advice with neighbors who have maliciously use the RSPCA and DEFRA?

We have lived on a farm for roughly 24 years now, and about 5-6 years ago people moved in near us on a hill so they can overlook the farm and surrounding land. At first we got along, they came to ours for water other stuff and basically we kept ourselves to ourselves. Then about two years ago they stopped talking to us for no apparent reason and quite reciently have been making malicious reports to the RSPCA and various other groups inc DEFRA and the enviormental health (we knew it was them cause they been spotted watching us through binoculars when out feeding the livestock and such right before being reported and the Defra vet inspector had actually showed us the number of the caller). Each time they came there was no problem with our animals health or wellbeing - the RSPCA guy even gave us some cats to keep vermin levels low but the straw which broke the cammels back was when the wife phoned to say a horse we keep for a friends was dead and hung up.panicking i rushed out to find she was asleep on her side. So we gave the womans number to our friends and the woman admitted to our friend they watch us through binoculars and can see into our house :/. I need advice on what to do cause i dont want to move, but i dont want to put up with these jerks any longer more

Ok well for the past 4 days late at night 6 people have been snooping round my street looking at houses writing stuff down and one day 2 of them were sat in a car with binoculars spying on my neighbour i can see them writing things down. I have been jotting down what they do. They all wear hooded tops so it is impossible for me to see their faces the car was a range rover is this something i should report or leave the mysterious men to get on with it? Obviously i dont know the name of the film so im going to describe as best as i can. Its a horror film about a guy who i believe is a criminal that dies by smashing into a lampost and then ends up somehow going into the electricity wires and then killing people by calling to see if they are home. In one scene hes in a kids video game at the arcade. The kid puts on these binocular type things and then he appears in the virtual game. Any ideas? i know the best person to ask is the optician, but he was an ass and got annoyed with me for no reason, so i dont understand what is going on... so here we go.... firstly what exactly is an astigmatism, because i have one, and to help you understand more this is what my eye test results were (means nothing to me) SPH CYL Axis R -1.25 -1.25 140.0 L -1.50 -1.25 50.0 in reality how bad is this? according to the optician he seems to think id struggle in everyday life without glasses and would find simple thinks like walking around town challenging. well im 18 and have coped perfectly fine and in all honesty it doesnt bother me in the slightest, now the glasses he has given me, i HATE (not talking about the appearance of them, but how they work) yes, dont get me wrong, i can see like 10 miles away with them on and in high detail, its like having a pair of binoculars strapped to my face and i cant see a thing up close.. i hate it, such horrible feeling, and when i take them off it makes my vision sooooo bad for a few mins and ive had eye aches since then. (before glasses no eye ache, no headaches etc) im going to see about contact lenses next week as i think they might be more practical, but now i hear people with astigmatism cant always wear them..... i just dont know what to do in reality, is this something that gets better or worse with time? any advise? thanks more
